Chapter 5:
In a spacious hotel room, Thapakorn was
using the glass table space to follow up during his vacation. The young man was
an employee of a large organization, fortunately he had little business or
sickness to take leave. At this time there was a reason to take leave claiming
that the relative was sick, the supervisor was willing to give him leave as he
wanted but anyway. He also brought a laptop to work with.
“Within this week. I’ll
find a way to come in and sign. Phii, I’m really sorry to keep you waiting.” He
added his voice into his cell phone as his eyes focused on the laptop screen to
read the troublesome piece and his signature is required on the part that needs
to be corrected.
“Yes, I will try to go
as quickly as possible.” At the other end of the line seemed somewhat
satisfied, he inquired about the ‘sickness of relatives’ that he cited as a
reason for his leave.
Sharp eyes glanced at the
thin figure on the wide bed still lying still.
“Well... she hasn’t
gotten much better, maybe a little while longer.” He replied shortly, because
if someone had to explain his illness, no one would believe it.
“Yes, I will return as
soon as possible. Thank you very much Phii.” He ended the call and turned to go back and read the emails that were
in the system to continue following his work. But after a moment’s work, the
phone rang again, this time it wasn’t his phone. The young man swept around the
room and found the source of the noise was ‘Lalin’ cell phone.
Thapakorn walked over to pick it up, saw it
was an incoming call from the mother of 2 brothers Sawin and Lalin, and decided
to answer the call.
“Hello.”
‘Tha, right? Is Lin there?’
“Lin... Uh... Lin is
already asleep.”
sleep? Right now?’
Thapakorn glanced at his watch and saw that it was only eleven o’clock.
“Uh... yes. I thought she
was asleep today. She looks tired. So, they come to stay at the hotel first,
this mobile phone is stuck on me I don’t know how.” He deliberately said as if
both he and Phonuma’s daughter are in different rooms, because they don’t want
people to listen. It feels bad to learn that he’s sharing a room with ‘Lalin’.
‘Oh, is that so...’ The voice from the other end of the line
sounded so bad that Thapakorn was worried.
“Is something wrong Aunt
Phon, do you want me to knock on Lin’s room?”
‘No need. Nothing anymore... Hey, when are
you coming back?’
“Now I have come to 2
temples. I am looking for the 3rd temple stuff. I should be able to find it by
tomorrow.”
‘Then, hurry back.’
“Yes.”
‘Please tell Lin that I miss her.’ and Phonuma hung up. Thapakorn was still
fascinated by this woman’s unfavorable tone, so decided to call someone who
would be able to find out for him.
... Chanonn…
…...
Doctor Chanonn was just about to go home
when he got a call from ‘Thapakorn’. He answered the call as he stepped foot
into the car.
“Are you still alive?! I
thought you had been eaten by the menstruating stomachache!” The young doctor
greeted me cheerfully. I can’t imagine how frustrated and angry that ‘Sawin’ is
suffering from menstrual cramps, because he is usually irritable with Thapakorn
as his former capital.
‘He almost didn’t survive either,’
Chanonn laughed impatiently.
“So, how is he?”
‘He fell asleep and his stomach hurts again’
“This one is difficult to
answer, it may or may not be painful. Let him take the medicine and the story
is over.”
‘Where is ever going to agree.’
“You can’t force it
either. You’ve been weakened by these two siblings all this time and now
they’re in a two in pack, older spirit in a younger body.” Chanonn teased,
hearing a soft sigh from the other end of the line was enough to know that the
other ‘weakened to the siblings.’ This is true.
“What are you calling
here? Don’t tell me you’re going to suffer with a menstruation named Sawin.”
‘No. I’m going to drop
you off to have a look at the ranch, Aunt Phon just called, she doesn’t sound
good.’
“Okay, I’ll stop by to
have a look and I’ll call you and tell you.” Chanonn hurriedly agreed, he disconnected the call and started the car
and drove him out of the hospital. His heart was worried about the mother of a
friend he had seen since he was little. Phonuma has been a quiet person since
time and especially when her son and daughter both have an accident. The more
he felt that the widow carried all his suffering in her heart alone.
... Please don’t let those sufferings
deteriorate her spirit of living...
……
Sawin fell asleep for a while and woke up
again. The whole room had already turned on the orange-yellow lights. He opened
his eyes to look around the room before he sat up and saw Thapakorn typing his
laptop on the glass table at the foot of the bed. The young man saw him through
his reflection in the mirror. So, he turned around.
“How are you? Has your
stomach ache gone yet?
“Well… it's gotten
better.” the thin figure replied before turning his toes off the bed. That’s
all, Thapakorn hurriedly got up and walked over and grabbed his arm.
“Going to the bathroom.”
the patient replied but Thapakorn stood still. His gaze passed over the girl’s
shoulder and landed on the bed, causing the person who had just woken up to
turn to look. The wide bloodstains on the white bedsheet made Sawin’s eyes gape
open.
“Go to the bathroom
before we go. Here... a bag of clothes and here... I’ve given people to buy
them for me.” Thapakorn was conscious. He pushed his small back straight to the
bathroom before turning around to pick up a bag of clothes and a plastic bag
from the convenience store, which had various brands of tampons delivered.
After sending the
troubled person to the bathroom already. The young man only came back to stand
beside the bed, holding his temples on what to do with this ‘stain’. Of course,
Sawin would never come to deal with it, because he just turned around and saw
it. He also made his eyes big, his mouth agape. He walked and spun for a while,
just as the person who had disappeared into the bathroom opened the door again
in a robe.
“My pants get dirty and
I’m afraid that if I wear something else. It will get dirty again.” said the
woman in a low voice as Thapakorn looked at him quietly.
“Where are your pants?”
“At the shower stall.”
When he got the answer, the tall figure made a move to enter the bathroom but a
small white hand hurriedly grabbed it.
“What are you going to
do?!” The round eyes widened at him in panic, Thapakorn looked into those eyes
before speaking softly.
“I will wash the pants
for you.”
“But...”
“I will do it myself.”
he repeated the same words before pointing to a chair in front of the glass
table, “Go sit over there and wait.” After finishing his order, he vanished
into the bathroom. Sawin could only walk and sit at the chair as instructed by
the other party. Thapakorn disappeared into the bathroom for a while and walked
out with the girl’s pants that he had washed and brought to hang out on the
balcony with underwear. Then went back into the bathroom again and came out
with a small towel and a little lathered bar of soap, to clean the stains on
the sheets without disdain. The girl’s big round eyes could only quietly watch
the tall figure’s every action.
Thapakorn is always like
this, does everything without saying anything, does everything quietly, even if
someone asks, never offers his face to accept the favor but still intends to do
everything... Like in the past, there is no mistake.
“Are you hungry?” The
stain has faded a bit. So, the young man asked the man sitting silently at the
glass table.
“A little.”
“Call down to order at
the hotel kitchen? The kitchen is still open.”
“What are you eating?”
The next question made the person who was intent on washing the stains on the
bed sheets look up. Two pairs of eyes met in an instant. There was only silence
floating in the middle of the room before ‘Sawin’ shifted his gaze away to look
the other way instead, Thapakorn’s smile faded fondly. He had never seen
‘Sawin’ avert his gaze until today.”
“You can take fried
rice.” The girl nodded in acknowledgement before getting up and walked to the
phone at the bedside table, dialed the number directly to the hotel kitchen and
ordered a plate of fried rice and another plate of boiled rice. Then returned
to the original seat. He watched as the tall figure concentrated on washing his
sheets with a simple solution from a bar of soap and a damp cloth until there
was a knock on the door.
“I wonder if the food
will come now, go into the bathroom before leaving.” Thapakorn turned to order
the people who got up and prepared to open the door. The girl furrowed her
brows incomprehensibly. The young man had to explain one more time.
“You are dressed out of
order.” His words made Sawin realize that he was now in the form of a sister,
walking around in a bathrobe was not a good idea. If you continue to think
about keeping the appearance of ‘Lalin’.
Again, someone who is
very obedient to obey orders, hid into the bathroom when Thapakorn goes to open
the door for the waiter to bring the ordered food in. When paying, the waiter
left the room. That's why he knocked on the bathroom door and called out to the
person hiding in there.
“Rice porridge is at a
table by the window.” said Thapakorn, raising his head to two single sofas and
a small table where fried rice and porridge were placed. Sawin was about to
invite the other party to eat together but his gaze went out onto the balcony
with the curtains open. The green cross you saw from the room made your brows
furrowed together.”
“What is that!”
Thapakorn looked at him but still didn’t understand the question.
“That cross. Is it a
hospital?!”
“Yes, how?” When the
young man asked back like that. His round eyes suddenly squinted at him in
disapproval.
“So, what?! How did you
ask how and how! This room overlooks the hospital, so why don’t you change the
room! So, they call it Feng Shui, it’s not good! You call down to the front and
ask to change rooms right now! Even though! Just now, I couldn’t sleep soundly
because I was sleeping in a room where I could see the hospital!” Thapakorn
looked around the room with extreme frustration, he went straight to the
balcony and quickly pulled the curtain closed.
“Do you think that closing the curtain will
make things better?! I’m not giving up! I’ll change the room!” Even though he
was sick, Sawin was a very powerful person. Don’t tell anyone, he would go
straight to the phone but Thapakorn narrowly locked his waist before his figure
even reached the phone.
“Release me!”
“No! Go sit and eat!
“I don’t wanna eat! I
want to change rooms!
“What room, all the rooms
I saw have a hospital cross!” This time, the big round eyes turned to look in
shock and anger.
“What! Why the fuck then
did you come to sleep in this hotel?!
“How blessed is it to
have a hotel to sleep in! If you are also very troubled. I’ll take you to the
hospital!”
“Are you threatening
me?!”
“I’m not threatening but
I really will. If you don’t believe me, try it. Call when you ask to change
rooms, I’ll check out and take you to the hospital for real. My friend is a
doctor at that hospital and he has a house inside. If you want to change from a
hotel to an actual hospital, go ahead!” The
war of murderous eyes was on fire, just as Thapakorn’s cell phone rang. So, he
let go of the hand that was holding the woman’s waist but didn’t give a damn as
he walked to answer the phone. The caller came to interrupt the army, not
anyone anywhere. That’s Chanonn.
“Hey Nonn.” the end of
the line informed the news that he had to follow to see Warodom ranch and
that’s all. The young man was stunned.
“What... Khun Inthra
moved into the ranch?” he asked, his voice was not so loud but could be heard
in the ears of Sawin standing not far away, Thapakorn turned to meet the thin
figure. The person’s eyes that he was staring at showed no signs of shock, even
blaming him.
“Thank you very much, we
will go back soon.” And as soon as he disconnected the call from the doctor’s
friend. An indignant voice came from a woman in a bathrobe.
“Why did you use Nonn to
snoop on my ranch?!”
Thapakorn looked at him and replied with his
brow furrowed as well, his arms crossed over his chest in a haughty manner that
Sawin hated the most.
“The Warodom ranch is not
yours alone Win. It's half of me, you don’t forget.”
...Then the relationship seems to have
improved somewhat. then collapsed with the warning of Thapakorn...
... Warodom ranch is not only Sawin’s but
half of the owner of this ranch is Thapakorn...
……
Because of the name of the owner of Warodom
ranch, the two-people returned to their disagreement as before. Even though
Sawin disliked Thapakorn very much, he did not turn away like he is doing now.
The girl’s sweet face was sullen from last
night until the next morning. After checking out from the hotel, the people
still didn’t say anything, got in the same car but hardly spoke to each other
at all.
Thapakorn is still driving, while the person
beside him is still sitting idle. Until in the end, the person who couldn’t
stand it any longer was a tall figure.
“Are you hungry?” he
asked, because there was nothing to fill both of them.
“No!”
“Do you still have a
stomach ache?”
“No!” The answer was
succinct, sounding like he didn’t even know the person’s concern at all. The
young man let out a sigh of relief and turned the car to the side of the road
that was a dense rubber ranch, the girl’s big round eyes squinted thoughtfully.
“Why stop?! Let’s hurry to the temple!”
“I am in a hurry.” The
young man turned to look at the person beside him with plain eyes.
“You hurry, you keep
driving!”
“I have to agree with you
first, finish this temple and we will go back to Chonburi and I will stay at
Warodom ranch.”
“What a dream?! You want
to stay at my ranch!”
“You are the one who
thinks like that, who thinks that the ranch is yours alone. No... Now the other
name in that ranch other than my name is lying helpless in the hospital and if
that person… something happens to him... the whole ranch will become mine
alone, according to your father’s will.”
“Damn! ...” Sawin couldn’t curse, he remembered every
message and clause in his father’s will, since it is the most unjust testament!
His father gave up half of the ranch to Thapakorn’s ownership. Today, although
he acts as if he owns the whole ranch, legally half of the ranch is held by
Thapakorn’s name.
Sawin never understood, why did his father
make such a will? Thapakorn took over half of the ranch for no reason and he
never said the reason why his father gave it to him. Even if it should be given
to him or to Lalin!
“We will go get holy
water at the temple and then go back to Chonburi.” Thapakorn repeated the same words but the person beside him looked out
of the glass window as if he didn’t want to know. The young man sighed softly,
he knew that the other party hated him for some reason but... The truth is that
Amon Sawin and Lalin’s father gave him half of his ranch, although they had
nothing to do with each other.
“Win, Khun Inthra is not
a good person.” he said softly, as if implying that he needed to appear in
Warodom ranch. Even though I haven’t set foot there since the opening day of
Amon’s will, it’s because Inthra is currently there.
The big round eyes
glanced back at him angrily, as it made Thapakorn sigh with all his heart.
“I never thought Aunt Inn
was a good person from the start, unlike you… Even though I trusted, even
though I trusted... but in the end you betrayed me.”
The last sentence was trembling and
trembling mixed with regret, anger and disappointment, the heart of the
listener seemed to be engulfed by ice until it was cold. The young man turned
his gaze away from the window of the car, unable to explain anything. He sighed
softly to himself and shifted gears to take the car off the road again.
... ‘But in the end, you betrayed me’... I
know how stubborn Sawin is but... Thapakorn still couldn’t get used to the
other party’s arrogance…
……
Maybe because the 3rd
temple was not as terrifying as the first 2 temples and Sawin who was most
afraid of ghosts was in such an annoyed mood that no longer had the brain to
think about ghosts. When the car stopped at the temple grounds, he opened the
door and walked around to find a burly figure sweeping the pavilion by the
water.
“Sir, where is the
abbot’s cubicle?” Because he was not in the mood to be serious about the body
of the woman he was using, Sawin spoke as usual. The young monk slightly raised
his head and gave a faint smile before pointing to a nearby wooden house.
“There.”
“Thank you.” The thin
woman was about to turn around and walked towards the one-story wooden cubicle
but he had called first.
“Wait a minute, benefactor.”
The word ‘Wait,’ caused the hot-tempered person to freeze, then glanced back at
the caller, irritated.
“You have entered the
temple area; would you mind letting go of your emotions?” Sawin quickly calmed
down, realizing that he was taking out his anger on Thapakorn on the people
around him. Even with the monks at this temple that he came to ask for help.
The fragile girl put her
hands together and lowered her head.
“I’m sorry.” But to speak as a woman, Sawin couldn’t do
it. The young monk just smiled slightly. Just as Thapakorn arrived, the girl’s
big round eyes flickered furiously but he didn’t care. She raised her hand to
pay homage to the monks in front of her.
“What are you doing
here?”
“We came to ask for holy
water.” Thapakorn replied.
“Why did you take it?” This time, the two people who frequented
Chonburi were silent, because they didn’t know if they should say the real
reason for asking for holy water, supernatural things. Sometimes even monks
wouldn’t believe it.
“The holy water is a
mental refuge, the sick people come to ask for the holy water and they get
better quickly. Even though holy water has not done anything yet but people’s
minds think that holy water can help, people who are suffering with various
problems come to ask for holy water. They think that their suffering can be
completely eliminated. Here, holy water has not yet been able to do anything
but people’s minds think that holy water can make life auspicious, human
beings, benefactors, nothing is as powerful as one’s heart. If the heart is
strong, if the heart is happy, holy water is not necessary.”
“It is necessary! The
holy water of this temple is necessary! Is the abbot in the cloister? I’m going
to meet him!” Sawin argued abruptly before hurriedly cutting the chapter
because he didn’t want to waste time with the monk in front of him, he came
here to ask for holy water, not to be preached.
“Here I am, I am the
Abbot.” The young monk’s words caused the
thin figure who was about to turn to walk towards the wooden cloister to pause
before turning to look at him unexpectedly but the young monk still smiled
slightly before asking another question.
“Benefactor, you say the
holy water of this temple is necessary, that’s because the mind of the benefactor
says it is necessary. It therefore needed and the more the benefactor was told
how much it was needed, the more it was tied to the benefactor itself.”
“Don’t talk more than
this. I’m here, because I’m willing to accept anything that will happen after
this! No matter how many nooses will hold me I’m delighted! Just tie me alone,
don’t let my mom and sister get in trouble!” Because nothing is as important to Sawin as a family of only mother and
sister and now his sister doesn’t know where. How hot and cold will it be? He
had to help his younger brother come back.
...and the more I think, the more I worry
and the more I worry, the more it heats up like a fire burning my heart...
“This noose does not bind
the benefactor alone but rather the person beside the benefactor.” Only Sawin, who was raging with all his
heart for fear that he would not receive the holy water from this temple, was
stunned. He turned to look at Thapakorn who was standing beside him but the
tall young man remained silent.
“He fell into the same
noise as the benefactor, is helping you enough to let go of his stubbornness?”
The taught person was numb all over the body but still stubbornly arguing.
“But in this he also
played a part, that everything is like this because of him!” If it wasn’t for Thapakorn to marry Lalin
and blow Lalin’s ear to ask for his permission. That night’s accident wouldn’t
have happened and he and his little sister wouldn’t have to be in this
condition.
“Blame others but not
yourself. Even if the holy water is given, things will be the same as before.”
As if the young monk had lost his will to teach, Sawin heard that and the
slender figure of a young woman knelt on the floor begging for mercy.
“So, what are you going
to do for me! I want holy water! I would do anything to get the holy water
back!”
“Then, can you forgo the
anger and the resentment in the heart? Benefactor” Sawin round eyes widened at
the statue’s words before glancing at the person beside him.
“What do you mean, will I
forgive things like that…”
“Don’t be forgiven, just
let go of your grudge. Trust me, holy water may help the benefactor but the
person who can help the benefactor’s heart attain calm and be happy, is the
benefactor’s heart.” The sweet face could
only bow down, why wouldn’t he know that besides his hatred towards Thapakorn?
What remains are the many memories that the other side had been together since
childhood, memories that have been obscured by resentment that they have
forgotten how much Thapakorn was once a best friend he loved very much.
“I will bring you holy
water.” The young monk walked separately to the wooden house, which was his
cloister. Thapakorn then turned around and pulled his small arm.
“Get up, Win.” The thin figure stood up like a doll, his
two knees smeared in the red dust of the ground until Thapakorn couldn’t help
but bend down to brush it, his big eyes glanced down at the person who used it.
Two hands dusted on his pants and it felt like a flashback to his childhood.
Childhood picture where Thapakorn took care of him.
...But... those memories are all faded, even
if there are only a few fragments left, no matter what, they can’t bring their
relationship back to the old times...
“Even without resentment,
we can’t be friends again.” Sawin said
flatly and did not wait for the other to finish brushing off the dust on his
pants. The skinny figure turned and walked back to the car without saying
another word. Thapakorn could only look at him and let out a heavy sigh.
... Does Sawin know that the only person who
will help his heart to be happy, is only a Sawin’s heart that doesn’t hate him
anymore...
…
Inthra still can’t see the shadow of the
girl niece who has been discharged from the hospital. In the morning when she
went downstairs to eat, she only found Phonuma, who of course didn’t say
anything as usual and when she sat down at the table as well. Phonuma asked to
go to see her son’s fever. At that time Inthra asked her permission to go out
to check the ranch work, her sister-in-law didn’t say anything, she took it as
permission.
After finishing breakfast, she went back up
to find a nice dress to wear. Out for a round of shopping, late afternoon
Inthra ordered a worker to bring her a golf cart to the office building at the
front of the ranch. The ground floor opens as a fusion restaurant which uses
most of the ingredients from the ranch. The business was going quite well as
she had predicted with her eyes. Although there are not many customers, they
keep coming in all day. The 2nd and 3rd floors are the offices of the ranch. Of
course, there would be Sawin’s office.
“While Nephew Win was
still in the hospital. I will take care of the business instead of Nephew Win.
Khun Manat remembers me, right? I’m Inthra, sister of Phii Amon, the owner of
this ranch.” Without anyone to introduce
herself, she addressed a chubby man named Manat who had been helping her
brother since he was alive, when he died Manat was still working here with the
same position but has become Sawin’s assistant instead.
“Yes, I remember.” Manat answered dazedly. He actually knew
that Inthra had moved into the Warodom ranch yesterday from a dear friend who
was the ranch manager but he didn’t think Inthra would dare to come to the
office alone and declare herself to take over Sawin’s role like this
“Well, where is Nephew
Win’s office? I can use that room.
“Uh...Khun Win room is
locked.” Manat answered honestly and only then Inthra’s smiling face instantly
swelled.
“What do you mean, the
room is locked!”
“Well… the door is
locked.” The chubby man didn’t dare say more that the locker was Phonuma, who
stopped by this morning before leaving the hospital. She also insisted that no
one was allowed to use Sawin’s room.
“How will I work?! Go
find a way to open it now, Khun Manat! I came to work for Nephew Win! I have to
use the Nephew Win room!”
“Can’t open it. Khun Win
once became very angry, because someone opened his room without permission.”
“Excuse me?! He sleeps
like a vegetable or so, how am I going to ask permission for it!”
“Well... I don’t know
either but we’ll just have to wait until Khun Win approves.” Manat replied,
Inthra snorted in frustration.
“Where will Khun Manat
let me work?! I want to see all the documents! If I mismanage it, when Nephew
Win wakes up he will be angry again!”
“Then Khun Inthra, you
still don’t have to manage, right?” A
deep voice rang out from behind, causing the people who were annoyed to have
their eyes turned to look at them. She furrowed her brows when she found that
the tall young man who was Sawin’s close friend had stopped by again.
“Soon Win will wake up or
if you can’t wait for him to revive, Lin is coming back.” Chanonn said with a
slight smile, he made the wrong decision to stop by today before going home.
Ever since yesterday knowing that Inthra moved here, he assumed that it would
be a problem because this Sawin’s relative always comes with a problem whenever
and wherever.
“She said like she didn’t
know Lin, she was a spoiled brat. Nephew Win made her everything, how could
such a naive child take care of the ranch alone? I assure you that when Nephew
Win wakes up, he will be able to come and wipe the scum that his sister runs
ruefully!” The young doctor looked disgruntled. The child Inthra is talking
about is Lalin, a real nephew. No matter how much Lalin is a child who doesn’t
care or gets spoiled. It’s not something to be sarcastic about in front of the
employees in the ranch’s office like this.
“Looks like Khun Inthra
forgot something, this ranch doesn’t belong to Win alone, Amon gave this ranch
to Tha too and coincidentally Tha is coming back here with Lin.” Inthra stopped breathing. She glanced at the
speaker with wide eyes, Chanonn raised a small smile at the corner of her mouth
and repeated it again so as not to cause more trouble to the woman in front of
her.
“Oh, and I’ll tell you
one more thing…” He approached and bowed
down to speak in a low voice so that only the two of them could hear.
“The testament says the
ranch belongs to Win and Tha, if one of them dies, the ranch belongs to the
other, so... How is someone whose name is not related to the ranch like Khun
Inthra coming here to help? Just taking a monthly allowance alone is enough,
isn’t it better? Because if you think Tha is a quietly person and doesn’t talk
to anyone you go and think he is a kind person but he is not a kind person, he
was the one who ordered Khun Inthra’s monthly allowance to be cut down, you be
careful if he get annoyed with you, 1 baht per month can still be considered a
monthly allowance.” Then he laughed in
his throat in a good mood. Inthra looked at the nephew-aged man with anger but
in the end, she could do nothing more than flick her head and walk away from
the office. Just then, Chanonn’s laughter stopped. He turned to Manat, who was
not far away.
“Manat, lock Win’s room
carefully.”
“Yes, I will take care of
Khun Win’s room even more than my life. Just now the doctor said that Khun Tha
is coming back with Khun Lin, is this true?” Chanonn nodded. He had just made a phone call with Thapakorn a few
hours ago. The two of them were boarding their plane back from Udon Thani and
would soon arrive in Chonburi.
Manat was shocked to learn that the person
Sawin hated was going to step on here. In spite of the owner’s name, he has
never visited here in the past 7 years. Everyone knows that since the opening
day of Amon’s will. Sawin immediately announced that he had been in a
relationship with Thapakorn since childhood.
“If Khun Win finds out...”
“Win knows…”
“Khun Win knows?!” Manat
repeated, causing Chanonn to pause for a moment that slipped out of his mouth.
“Uh... I mean, he’ll
know but there’s no problem. while letting Khun Inthra take care of the ranch
and letting Tha take care of the latter option is the best.” Despite agreeing
with that choice but the chubby man couldn’t help but panic, if Sawin wakes up
to find out that Thapakorn is taking care of the Warodom ranch, there might be
someone. was fired... Name is Manat.
“Manat believe me, if Win
knows I assure you that I will not be wrong. I will be responsible for myself.”
“Oh, doctor, you just
said. When it’s really time, will the doctor’s life be entirely responsible or
not? I don’t know yet.” At the table,
Chanonn looked after him and could only stare at the ceiling.
... If it’s really time that he can’t take
responsibility alone, drag Tha to join the liability instead and at the end of
the story, whichever one for Sawin has been wrong since the beginning...
…
While Inthra was worried about Thapakorn
taking over the ranch instead of Sawin, the person Inthra was thinking about
had just got off the plane at Don Mueang Airport. Ever since leaving the third
temple, the woman did not say anything more than necessary, all the way from
Bueng Kan back to Udon Thani on the plane and the whole time sitting on the
plane, the two people who came together sat facing different directions as if
not coming together in any way.
“Nonn said that Khun
Inthra broke into the office, wanted to sit and work in your room.” Thapakorn
turned to tell, after a while he opened the phone and found that Chanonn had
left a message telling in detail the story of what kind of rampage Sawin’s
father’s sister went to in the office.
The listener quietly
opened the door and sat in the car without saying anything. The young man
sighed softly before opening the door and sitting behind the wheel but before
he could start the car, Thapakorn turned to emphasize the truth that Sawin had
to accept.
“Do you understand? That when we return to
that ranch. You should also a have a calm demeanor, like Lin.” The person who was in dilemma turned away
and looked out of the car window, didn’t want to admit it, didn’t even want
Thapakorn to step on the Warodom ranch but the truth is the truth. The text in
his father’s will clearly states that the owners of Warodom ranch have two
people, Sawin and Thapakorn, although he is Sawin but the body he is using is
Lalin who has no rights to that ranch, even proclaiming throughout the ranch
that people, the one that uses Lalin’s body is Sawin. There is no legal effect,
the only person who has every right... is Thapakorn.
Two hands clenched in constraint, do not
understand why fate is playing a joke on his life so much, to be in the form of
a sister, to rely on the person who hates the most for what?!
Thapakorn glanced at the person beside him
and then sighed again, the 3rd temple abbot’s words did not let Sawin let go of
his matter, his tense expression, indifferent but still filled with
dissatisfaction and anger. So, clear that I didn’t even dare to say anything
else.
...because no matter what... Sawin still
hates him…
…
Chanonn was still waiting at the Warodom
ranch; he was well acquainted with the housewife Saman. So, when the young man
appeared in the house, Auntie Saman ordered the young man to bring water and
sweets to warmly welcome him. Today is his holiday. Therefore, the young doctor
had enough time to sit and wait for someone who was coming back to the ranch
calmly.
... they disappeared together for 3 days and
2 nights and accomplished the mission to get holy water back for 3 more days,
he had to update that Thapakorn still had 32 organs. As for Sawin, who was in
Lalin’s body, didn’t eat his best friend as food before...
“I saw Chao Namman
deliver the news that Khun Lin was going to bring Khun Tha with her, Doctor.”
Auntie Saman brought another plate of snacks and asked in a low voice with
suspicion but the late woman’s expression showed that It’s hard to know that
Lalin will be back on the ranch with the person Sawin hates the most.
“Yes, hey, they’re almost
there.” Chanonn replied, not daring to explain further that the person who took
Thapakorn to the ranch was not Lalin as Saman thought but Sawin.
“I’d be dead if Khun Win
gets to find out…”
“Not dead, Auntie Saman.
Whether Win knows or doesn’t, he can’t do anything at all. If he had a vision
that Tha had stepped on here. How could he hurry up and drive Tha away?” said
the young doctor and snorted in a good mood but the old housewife was still
uneasy, hitting the talker’s arm aloud.
“This guy is joking! If
Khun Win actually wakes and finds out that Khun Tha was here. There will be
heads rolling, there are going to be a lot of people being bullied, blaming Tha
for letting Khun Tha come in.” Just listen to an old man older than your mother
saying this. Chanonn immediately understood that the people here loved Sawin
very much but were also very afraid of Sawin.
“People here are afraid
of getting fired by Win.” he teased.
“Oi... getting fired
means you just pack your bags out of here but if you get insulted before you
leave is bad enough… But all that pales because whoever is insulted by Khun
Win, in this life he or she will not prosper in the next life. You look at Khun
Inn... Is she prosperous?” Then Saman
turned back to sarcastic Inthra, this one she had seen since she was a young
girl. In the past, she was one of the most beautiful in the province, with men
flirting with her head but Inthra’s mouth made all the men disappear into the
clouds. Aside from her bad-mouthed and squandered from time immemorial, ranch
work never seems to help at all. where Amon made a will to give the whole ranch
to his son and Thapakorn Saman thinks it’s reasonable that Amon’s two younger
siblings won’t get anything other than the monthly payments they share from the
ranch’s profits.
“Auntie Saman lent me an
ear.” Chanonn moved closer and asked in a low voice, “Where did Khun Inthra
go?”
“Isn’t she in the room?”
The young man asked a question but a tense voice rang out into the living room
where he was sitting, accompanied by a loud shriek when the owner of the
footstep saw Saman in the room with him.”
“Phii Maan! Why not let
someone set the table! I have to eat dinner!” Inthra came down from the room to
have dinner but as she looked up in the dining room, only an empty table was
found. Aside from frustration about the dinner that not even a shadow was seen,
she was also upset that she could still see Chanonn wandering the fields.
“And then I don’t have
any work to do! The patient overflowed the hospital! Just sit here wagging your
legs!” She turned to Chanonn’s sarcastic tone but the young doctor wasn’t in
trouble, he shrugged.
“I finished work, so I
don’t have any work to do.” Inthra flickered her face indifferently but since
she couldn’t find Chanonn, she turned to Saman instead.
“But today is not your
holiday, right?! So, can you set the dinner table for me?!”
“Not yet!” A voice rang
out behind Inthra, causing the person who was running from hunger to panic.
“I told Auntie Saman to
wait!” Inthra had goosebumps all over her body before turning her head to look
at him unexpectedly, her voice was Lalin but her speech sounded like Sawin was
wrong.
“Lin…” She whined softly and saw that a tall and
tall man stood beside the young nephew, her eyes widened.
... Thapakorn! ...
Even though they haven’t seen each other for
a long time, she remembers well that the man standing next to Lalin was
Thapakorn!
“Yes.” The girl’s big
round eyes stared at Inthra fearlessly, not even showing respect, not even
raising her hand to pay homage to her as an elder relative, Inthra stiffened
her neck in displeasure.
“Huh! So, good! The
older brother is still lying in the hospital, this one brought another man to
the house. When Nephew Win was still here, he must have suppressed a lot...”
And because the young nephew wasn’t as dismayed as before, Inthra wasn’t
considerate. Talking sarcastically to both the female nephew male at the same
time. The listener, who was Sawin in Lalin’s, was smoldering, almost insulting
his real aunt one more time but a large hand grabbed his arm to hold him back.
“Because Lin’s elder
brother is still lying in the hospital. So, I had to take care of this place
instead according to Amon’s will, we haven’t forgotten that part have we now?”
Thapakorn explained in a flat tone.
Inthra stretched her lips in a straight
line, lowering her eyes to look at the tall man’s big hand that was still
holding on to her niece’s little arm.
“I think the car crashed
until Nephew Win is in the hospital. This seems like it wasn’t an accident, the
younger sister played tag team and brought the other man to take care of the
ranch like this…”
“Hey butt-face! ...” Sawin couldn’t bear to stay idle, because
Inthra’s words equaled Lalin being at fault for the car crash. Even though he
knew better than anyone why the accident happened, since he was the driver and
that day it rained heavily. The road was slippery, the speed of the cars and
the cars driving against the hill lane, at that moment he knew the brakes were
doing their job but he was too slow to stop everything.
“I came here on duty, as
a half-owner with Win. I didn’t come because I wanted something else, half of
the place still belongs to Win.” Thapakorn kept holding his small arms to
prevent the hot-tempered person from showing any suspicious behavior.
“Yes, Tha came here was
also Win’s say so.” Chanonn, who sat quietly on the sofa, got up and joined the
band. Inthra squinted her eyes in disbelief, even the petite and fragile woman
secretly glanced at him who dared to speak with her mouth full of ‘Sawin’,
willing Thapakorn to step on here.
“I don’t believe it!
Nephew Win, he hates this guy to death!”
“Hate is hate, work is
work. Win is a grown up, he won’t mix these two things, right Lin?” The Chanonn
pretended to turn to ask the girl. Big eyes stared at him one more time but had
to accept the words and words just a moment ago.
“True.” Hearing the
niece say that, Inthra became even more annoyed.
“Just wait and see! When
did Nephew Win revive! I’ll tell Nephew Win all of you that you’ve gathered
together to swindle the ranch!” Then she shook her head and walked stubbornly
out of the living room but nodded loudly back in.
“Phii Maan! You come and
set the table, I’m hungry!”
“Auntie Saman, go sit at
the table but don’t let anyone eat. We’ll be waiting for my mom, if anyone
can’t wait, let them go fucking eat somewhere else!” The woman immediately argued, her stiff-necked stance, not looking like
a young-headed nephew named Lalin.
The person who is the aunt can only shake
his teeth but can’t do anything, other than walk away into the dining room and
sit and wait until Phonuma comes back from visiting Sawin.
... Well, Win was exhausted, lying in the
hospital as a vegetable, she thought that there was no one to get up and
wrestle with her again. She couldn’t have imagined that all Win could become.
Lin rose up and made a giant face and looked like a tiger like you, it wasn’t
wrong! ... Here they spit on the centipedes. Since when are heirs inherited?
Lin, who used to be so easy to say, has stood up against her like this!
... or is it because of him?! Thapakorn! It
must be because of him!
A/N
Win is really not cute at all. Haha...but
after all, Win’s character is a very successful formula character.
He is the eldest son, his father is dead,
leaving his mother and sister and ranch workers for him to take care of. He is
the type that thinks that you are a man. You are the leader of the family, you
have to rule over everyone in the house so the author framed Win to walk in a
way that was self-sufficient. So, he has become a habit that is not as cute as
you can see, haha.
