S.C.I Mystery《S.C.I.谜案集》 Mi An Ji
S.C.I Mystery vol 1 Chapter 40, The Killer Training Camp 12: Destiny
The two returned to the garden again, only to find that Pang Yu, who was originally standing there, had disappeared.
With a glance at each other, Zhan Yao shrugged, "Dodged by him."
Bai Yutang giggled, it seemed that in this cat's eye, it was still me that mattered most.
Zhan Yao rolled his eyes at him.
At this point, Professor Wilson walked to the center of the garden with a glass of wine and said aloud, "I'm glad the congregation is here today, and this experience has made me fully aware of how important the heart is to psychologists."
The humorous words drew laughter from the guests present.
"Down there! Let's have a toast! For health." Saying that Wilson raised his glass.
The crowd also all raised their glasses and drank in one fell swoop.
Zhan Yao and Bai Yutang didn't have cups in their hands, and naturally, they didn't have to drink... So, they saw something unusual.
It was then that Dr. Wilson's wife, the stately lady Laura, suddenly staggered and walked quickly towards Wilson.
A chilling light flashed.
Bai Yutang shouted, "Danger!"
Laura had raised the knife in her hand...
The knife went straight into Wilson's abdomen, and a "danger" from Bai Yutang caused Wilson to turn around so that the stab hit the front, not the side.
Laura drew her knife vigorously and raised her hand to stab again.
By this time, Bai Yutang had already flung himself at her and pressed her wrist, and the knife fell to the ground.
Only, the originally gentle Laura was struggling as if she had lost her mind, trying to pounce on the knife on the ground.
Bai Yutang restrained her with a force and realized that the old woman was incredibly powerful... Something is wrong. He raised his head and shouted at the somewhat bewildered security guards who had frozen to the side, "What are you all doing? Come and help!"
The security guards woke up as if in a dream and went over to hold down Laura, who was desperately fighting back.
Zhan Yao has called an ambulance and called the police.
Dr. Wilson collapsed in a pool of blood with his belly covered, but conscious and somewhat disbelievingly looking at his frantic screaming wife, said to the guards with the only strength he had, "Don't hurt her..."
An ambulance and police car arrived at the first opportunity, Wilson was taken to the hospital, and Laura was escorted away by the police.
Bai Yutang patted the dust off and looked at Zhan Yao who walked up to him.
"Cat'er, what do you think?"
Zhan Yao frowned, "That's weird... "
"Yeah!" Bai Yutang nodded, "Like a ghost possessed, I haven't seen any old lady that strong."
"Ghost possessed?" Zhan Yao mumbled and repeated.
"It's like a different person!" Bai Yutang straightened his clothes and suddenly froze, "A change?"
Zhan Yao nodded, then scanned around and said to Bai Yutang, "Pang Yu is gone."
Bai Yutang frowned, this thing was also too fishy, he said, took out his cell phone and dialed the S.C.I.’s number.
"Hello?" the phone was immediately picked up, and Bai Yutang froze slightly before reacting that it was Bai Chi who picked it up.
"Bai Chi, are you alone in the office?"
"Hmmm... Hmmm." Bai Chi looked around, Jiang Ping was sprawled out on his desk, and Zhao Hu had taken care of Qi Yue for the day and was also snoozing on the couch in his office.
"You go to the city hospital right now." Bai Yutang said succinctly, "Wilson's been stabbed, you go there and wait, and let me know as soon as he comes out."
"Uh ..." Bai Chi just wanted to say something, and Bai Yutang had already hung up the phone.
Looking around, Jiang Ping and Zhao Hu were still snoring, and Bai Chi scratched his head somewhat anxiously, grabbed his bag and darted off.
In the office, Zhao Hu sat up while snoring, and Jiang Ping, who was also full of sobriety, looked, "Does it matter if the little guy goes alone?"
Jiang Ping wiped his mouth: "Let him work out."
The villa gardens were piled with police, and the guests were all in a certain shock, Jon King sitting paralyzed in his chair and looking straight ahead.
Bai Yutang looked at the scene with a grimace as a police officer handed him a small handbag that belonged to Laura.
Opening the tote bag for a moment, Bai Yutang's face paled a few more. Zhan Yao hurriedly went up, and saw Bai Yutang take out a small pill bottle from his handbag, which contained half a bottle of colored pills. There was also a card in the bag that was identical to the two in the white envelope sent to Dr. Wilson: the black card, the red handwriting, and the demon with the sickle.
This is the killer committing a crime under their noses, Bai Yutang and Zhan Yao, don't mention how much they're in trouble.
"Send it in to identify the ingredients." Hand the medicine bottle to the constable.
Bai Yutang picked up.
"Hello?... Brother... "
“Bai Chi? How's the professor doing?" Bai Yutang was a bit anxious.
"No... Thing." Bai Chi said, "There were no fatal injuries..."
Bai Yutang let out a long breath, and Zhan Yao, who was looking at his facial expression nervously aside, was also relieved.
"Brother..." Bai Chi seemed to have something else to say, "The one who taught him, while in a coma, kept saying... 'Son of the Devil'."
Bai Yutang frowned, "Son of the Devil?"
“Yeah..." Bai Chi nodded, "Nothing else."
"Very good!" Bai Yutang said, "I've sent the police to protect him, take care of yourself at home."
"Good."
Bai Chi hung up the phone and walked around two times with a smile on his face, just now his brother said, "That's good." His superman brother complimented him.
He ran out of the hospital happily, thought about it and decided to take the subway back, the one move I just played is so hardocore ~ ~ ~
Panting and running to the subway station to catch the last train at the last second.
Bai Chi gasped and sat back in his seat, so tired, but so unhurried...
Today should be the happiest day of his life. Leaning back in my seat, I thought about the good news of the day: I moved to S.C.I. in the morning, and everyone was so nice and nice. In the afternoon, I listened to the analysis of the case, and I was able to help myself. The night out on its own was successful (though nothing dangerous) and it also received praise from Bai Yutang. And finally managed to make it to the last subway!!! Bai Chi's life looks like it's about to change forever!
After a long pause, he realized that he was the only one in this bus... No, there's another one over there.
On a chair at the rear of the carriage, lay a man.
The man was wearing a white sweater, white pants, and his black hair was somewhat long, and he slumped slightly into a chair, not moving a muscle.
Bai Chi, get rid of those fleeting thoughts of subway haunting in your head... I'm a cop!
The strong man walked over, and saw the man lying face inward, his hair covering his face, unable to see his face.
"Sir... Sir?" Bai Chi patted him lightly... No response.
"Hey, are you okay?" Bai Chi took a deep breath and tapped again, still no response?
Making mental preparations that the face might not have five features, or look like Sadako, Bai Chi mustered up the courage and picked the man up.
The long black hair spread slightly, revealing a face, Little Bai patted his chest, having five senses, and not unlike Yutang! Not bad.
He was so shocked that he almost screamed out, "Look at that..."
The man was not very young, thin, very white... He's not young because of the two faint lines that extend to the corners of his mouth, how to say, a little bit of age, and a little bit of sexiness that grows on this face... Bai Chi can't describe it, he just feels good.
"Are you okay?" Shaking him, the man's head tilted to the side, no response.
A somewhat frightening thought suddenly flashed through Bai Chi's mind, could he have...
Trembling, he reached out his index finger to probe the man's nostrils, and just the moment the finger touched his lips... The man suddenly opened his mouth and contained Bai Chi's finger.
"Yikes, yikes," Bai Chi was so scared that his body stood up in a sweat, he took two steps backward and sat down on one hip on the floor.
The man opened his eyes and crooked his head to look at Bai Chi on the ground, then covered his stomach and fell to the side, laughing until his shoulders shook straight.
His laughter didn't make a sound at all, only that he could see that he was so happy that he almost burst out in tears, watery in his long slanted phoenix eyes... Bai Chi, who was sitting on the ground, looked a bit foolish.
The man laughed for a while before sitting up straight again and looking at Bai Chi, winking and sticking out his tongue to lick his upper lip.
Bai Chi blushed and stood up indignantly: "So... So, you lied to me!" Turned around and tried to leave, only to be pulled back by the man.
"My stomach hurts," the man said as if pampered, "My stomach hurts," as he pulled Bai Chi to him, came over and wrapped his arms around his waist, buried his head in his waist and rubbed it.
Bai Chi stayed where he was, the man's voice echoing in his ears - so ethereal...
Crying and laughing, he looked at the person who was pampering himself, but was obviously older than himself, pathetic, as if he was really hungry. Bai Chi sat down helplessly next to him, took a piece of chocolate out of his bag, and handed it over, "Eat... Eat it."
The man looked at the chocolate, then at Bai Chi, tilted his head, opened his mouth, and said, "Ahhhhhh."
Bai Chi froze for a moment before he understood that the man was going wait for him to feed him himself... For the sake of being in a good mood today, Bai Chi peeled off the plastic wrap and carefully placed the chocolate in the man's mouth.
After taking a piece, the man leaned back against Bai Chi's shoulder again and rubbed, "More."
"You... How do you know that I... I still have it?" Bai Chi looked at him strangely.
The man didn't answer either, just leaned closer: "I want more..."
...
Bai Chi shoved all four of the candies in his bag into the man's mouth before the man smacked his lips and rested contentedly against Bai Chi's shoulder.
"Did you just, what... Why are you scaring people?" Bai Chi asked somewhat exasperatedly.
The man ignored him and instead came up and sniffed on Bai Chi and said, "Hospital."
A shock: "You... How do you know I've been to the hospital?"
Turning away from him proudly.
Bai Chi was suddenly interested in him. This guy, he seemed a little crazy, but he didn't seem crazy...
"My name is Bai Chi." De decided to make an effort to communicate with him.
The man glanced back at him and bent over to smile again.
Bai Chi blushed, "It's... Bai Chi! The gallop of the gallop!"
The man stopped laughing, looked at Bai Chi and said, "Your surname is Bai?"
"Hmm!" Bai Chi nodded, "And you?"
The man came up to his ear and said, "Won't tell you."
...
Bai Chi decided not to communicate with him!
"What's bothering you?" The man, however, spoke up, "You feed me and I'll help you solve a puzzle." Holding out a finger and wagging it, "You're welcome."
Bai Chi looked at him somewhat dumbfoundedly, feeling that this person in front of him was somewhat similar to Zhan Yao, both seemed to be able to read people's hearts, but the two were completely different in temperament again.
"That... The devil son..." Off the cuff, the word that haunted itself all the way. Bai Chi didn't know why either, thinking the man in front of him might give him the answer, "You know about what?"
The man stared at Bai Chi for a moment and smiled, "If you can't become a son of a god, you'll have to become a son of a demon." Then meaningfully nudged Bai Chi's forehead with a finger, "Because they have something that humans don't."
Bai Chi looked blankly at the man in front of him as the subway slowly stopped and the man stood up, rubbed Bai Chi's hair, came to his ear and said, "Don't worry, you have a choice." After saying that, he kissed a kiss in his hair, "See you next time."
Bai Chi snapped to his senses when the man had stepped out of the subway.
He jumped up and rushed over, but the door closed at this moment. Slumped over the door, Bai Chi yelled at the man, "What's your name ~~?"
The trolley began to move forward, Bai Chi running backward, and he felt as if he was close to the bottom of the mystery with one more step.
The man's figure faded away, and before disappearing, he raised his hand, index finger pressed to his lips, and smiled at Bai Chi...
It was nearly dawn before Bai Yutang and Zhan Yao returned to the police station from Professor Wilson's villa.
When he got out of the elevator, he saw Zhao Hu coming towards him.
"What are you doing?" Bai Yutang looked at a frightened Zhao Hu.
"Ah! Boss, you're back? I'm off!" Zhao Hu replied succinctly, rushing into the elevator.
"Where are you going?"
"Go watch Qi Yue." Elevator doors closed.
Zhan Yao and Bai Yutang looked at each other incomprehensibly and continued to walk inward.
The moment the door was pushed open, the two understood.
Only to see a grim-faced Bai Jintang sitting in S.C.I.'s office.
The pressure is so low...
The two dutifully walked in silence, "Brother, what brings you here?"
Bai Jintang glanced up at the two and bowed his head as he continued to brew a depression.
Zhan Yao looked to Jiang Ping, who was hiding far away.
Jiang Ping gestured tremblingly to the forensic room next door.
Bai Yutang and Zhan Yao nodded immediately, ready to bugger off.
At this point, the office door opens, and Gong-sun walks in with a folder.
Bai Yutang and Zhan Yao had just tried to say hello, and just froze - Gong-sun looked, somewhat weakly, no, badly, They should say.
His face was frighteningly white with breathlessness as if he were going to collapse at any moment.
“Gong-sun ..." Zhan Yao really wanted to help him, how could this happen? What's going on?
Gong-sun didn't pay any attention to the two of them and handed the documents to Bai Yutang, saying, "Jia Zhengyan's autopsy report, and those drug analyses."
...!.....
The two were startled, so soon?
"Jia Zhengyan was poisoned by cyanide."
"Cyanide?" Zhan Yao and Bai Yutang froze, "Are you saying that what's in those pills is cyanide?"
Gong-sun nodded and said, "The ingredients of these colored drugs are different, Jia Zhengyan was given a highly poisonous cyanide; the one Zhao Hu brought back is a mixture of poisonous anesthetic, which can indeed stop the pain; the one you just asked someone to send is a mixture containing highly effective hallucinogenic agents such as king powder."
"A hallucinogen?" Bai Yutang frowned, "A drug that hallucinates?"
Gong-sun nodded, "Very potent."
"That is, Jia Zhengyan was killed, and Laura attacked Dr. Wilson because she was on LSD." Zhan Yao's face was grim.
"Any other findings?" Bai Yutang asked Gong-sun.
"That's all for now." After saying that, Gong-sun turned around and tried to leave, suddenly wobbling and instinctively pressing down on the table beside him.
Bai Jintang, who had been watching his every move, jerked up and tried to give him a hand, but before his fingers could reach Gong-sun's arm, they were swung away.
Zhan Yao and Bai Yutang watched the two men's movements from the side, somewhat at a loss for words.
Gong-sun pressed against the tabletop to ease the dizzy feeling, Bai Jintang's hand hung in mid-air, not daring to approach, and unable to withdraw.
Zhan Yao went up and held Gong-sun up, "Let me help you to go and rest." With that said, he helped Gong-sun towards his office and let him lean back on the couch.
Outside the door, Bai Jintang watched it all quietly, and Bai Yutang suddenly asked, "Brother, what happened to Gong-sun?"
Seeing Bai Jintang's silence, Bai Yutang thought for a moment, huffed, and asked in a small voice, "You didn't do it hard last night, should you..."
Bai Jintang looked up at him with a glare and sighed, “Help me get him back later. I'm not going to go to his place these days, just keep him at home." After saying that, he walked out in big strides.
Zhan Yao walked out of the office and came to Bai Yutang, "Big Brother is gone?"
Nodding: “How about Gong-sun?"
"He was running a fever and I wanted to take him to the hospital and he wouldn't."
Bai Yutang laughed, this cat is really dull, how can this go to the hospital, "Go to the infirmary and get some anti-inflammatory and anti-fever medication."
"Hmm." Zhan Yao nodded and walked out.
Bai Yutang spun around in place a few times, still slowly pacing into Zhan Yao's office, leaning against his desk and looking at Gong-sun who was lying on the couch.
Gong-sun closed his eyes, and Bai Yutang knew he wasn't asleep, he didn't want to face it.
“Yeah..." Scratching his head, seeming to organize the language, “Then, I'll interrupt you for a few minutes, okay."
Gong-sun slowly opened his eyes, it was rare that he could see Bai Yutang's hands and feet in confusion.
With a sigh, Bai Yutang said, "I don't necessarily speak as clearly as the cat, but..." Said while rolling up his sleeve to show Gong-sun, "Here."
Gong-sun looked at Bai Yutang's arm, which had several marks on it that was slightly lighter than the color of his skin, as if they were scratched with his hands, inexplicably.
"Big Brother had an incident when I was very young, you probably know that, right?"
Gong-sun nodded.
Bai Yutang rejoiced, thankfully, that Gong-sun was quite cooperative, and went on to say, "Later, he spent two years in treatment, and when he came back, he didn't remember anything, he was like a different person."
"When he came back, he used to spend a lot of time with me and Cat'er, and I remember one time, I told him that Cat'er and I were going to run away from home, and he trapped us and put us in a room, and he was afraid that we would actually walk away and leave him."
"This injury, when I was seven years old, I argued with him and said I didn't want him to be my brother, so he grabbed me and wouldn't let go... Later, it was my father who dislocated his wrist by yanking him hard, only to rip him off, and these wounds were caused because he grabbed them because he wouldn't let go of me even after he died."
"Because with him we could be in more danger, so the family sent him abroad... It wasn't until adulthood that we had contact again." Bai Yutang seems to be somewhat apologetic, "Cat'er and I actually like him a lot, it's just that as a kid, it was still a little scary to see him."
"He has a bad relationship with the family." Bai Yutang chuckled, "I heard what kind of boss, gang leader, or mafia he is out there? I'm not sure, it's just a job that doesn't require any human touch, just people being afraid of him."
"He came to see us once when I was in school. Fortunately, Cat'er was more attentive and heard that he had been writing to Big Brother to tell him how we were doing and that he said that Big Brother belonged to the 'unsound of mind,' to use his professional terminology." Bai Yutang laughed bitterly, "As long as he likes something, he expresses it in the most direct way, maybe it's because he's lost so much that he's most afraid of losing the thing he likes, the more he likes, the more he's afraid... He may use more extreme ways to keep the ones he likes."
Seeing from afar that Zhan Yao had already stepped out of the elevator with the medicine, Bai Yutang stood up and walked towards the office door, turning back to Gong-sun and saying, "I originally thought my brother wouldn't like anyone anymore... Gong-sun, you're the first person who dared to injure him with a scalpel, don't give up on him."
Zhan Yao walked into the office and saw Bai Yutang walkout, his sleeve rolled up to his elbow, and smiled with relief at the sight of the familiar scars.
Poured hot water, walked in, fed Gong-sun, put a blanket on him, walked out again, and just got to the hallway when he was yanked hard.
"What are you doing?" Zhan Yao stared at his Bai Yutang.
Bai Yutang laughed without saying a word, bowed his head and kissed up, while asking, “Cat'er, what would happen to me if you left?"
Zhan Yao faintly froze and rubbed his head, ''Stupid mouse! "
On the couch, Gong-sun buried his head in the fuzzy blanket.
On the outskirts of S City, in an abandoned factory building, there was a heartbreaking scream.
A man fell to the concrete floor and kept begging for mercy: "I will say, I will say, I will say, I will say,"
He's a young man in his early twenties with yellow hair, and he bridges most of the underground arms business in S City. He shouted a name desperately and said, "That's him! He's the one who bought the gun!"
In the darkness, two identical figures came out and said mischievously, "I told you to be a good boy and talk, what a waste of time.”
Afterward, the twins raised their heads to the person who had been hidden in a corner of the plant for a long time and said, "Do you hear me? The policeman!?"
The man froze, his palms sweating nervously.
The twins smiled and walked out the door, mouths saying, "That name should work well for you guys, right?"
It wasn't until the two figures disappeared into the darkness, and all was quiet again, for a long, long time ~~ that the man sat limply on the floor, cold and sweaty.
Effortlessly, he pulled out his phone and pressed a number.
"Hello? Is it Xu Qing?"
"Yes, I'm Han Chang, the last time you asked me to check the source of the gun, it's already been found, the person who bought the gun is --- Jon King."
...
The Goddess of Vengeance ripped her own chest open with her claws, pounding her heart and screaming.
I walked into a wide cemetery with dense mounds that made the ground undulate. The coffins were all open, and there were roaring flames inside, and the sound of mournful voices was heard.
Walking among the gravestones, I thought to myself, maybe someone I know, or once knew, is suffering.
-------The Sixth Level of Hell "Divine Comedy"
The colored pills in their hands spilled, watching them leap and roll as if they were alive as if they were seeing the lives that were shackled to their fate, struggling to roll over.
"Why are you the only one who can't have happiness? Why are you the only one alone?"
